It's out! As if you didn't know! Didn't you see it on the news? No, neither did I. Strange, that.
The album and book are now on online shelves across the world and, in more limited numbers, on real shelves. So if you haven't heard it / haven't read it yet, go directly to the Store page and have a look at all the options available - this blog post will still be here when you get back.
This week I'll be doing some promotion in the Winchcombe area, which is appropriate, considering this is where the story's set.
Radio Times!
On Thursday 3 October I'll be appearing on the Radio Winchcombe Folk Collective Show, where I'll be talking about "Children Of Belas Knap" with Kevin O'TheFolk (almost definitely his real name). Kevin will be playing a few tracks from the the album and then subjecting me to his frightening "Folk/Fake" quiz. Tune in at 8pm BST for all the fun!
A Book-Signing!
On Saturday 5 October I'll be in the Undercroft, the lovely little gift shop under Winchcombe Museum, where I'll be signing copies of the CD/paperback bundle, which you'll be able to purchase. So if you're in the area on Saturday, please come along and say hello. Even if you don't want to buy a copy, I'll be happy to tell you more about the project (or we can just chat about the weather - looks like it'll be raining as usual). Free themed bookmarks will be available to all! I'll be in the shop between 10am and 1pm BST. This is particularly exciting for me because so much of the story of "Children Of Belas Knap" takes place in and around Winchcombe museum.
By thw way, the accompanying cartoon bears no resemblance to me at all, since I haven't had that much hair since the 1990s!
